This food safe silicone mould contains riveted metal plates. There are 6 plates that make up this texture mold mat, so you can easily cut into the casts to create a different overall shapes. You can also use this mold to create a continuous pattern of riveted plates and because the overall mold is 10cm square, the casts can be rotated 90 degrees each time making the pattern more random in appearance. Perfect for steampunk, industrial or engineering themed projects.

Details

All Katy Sue moulds are made in the UK and are made with FDA compliant food grade silicone. The moulds can be used for sugar paste (rolled fondant) , sugar florist paste (gum paste) , modelling paste (Mexican paste), marzipan, chocolate, candy, boiled sugar, cold porcelain, salt dough, air drying clays and embossing powders.

The mould can be used in an oven up to 200°c.
Instructions Guidelines for use with paste, dough:

Wash and dry moulds well before use and lightly dust with corn flour to ease release. Keeping mould on a flat firm surface, push in a smooth ball of paste. Press paste evenly and firmly into mould without overfilling. Use a rolling pin and even pressure to ensure all areas are full and the base is flat. Cut away any excess paste from the edges being careful not to cut into the mould. Turnover mould and release paste embellishment gently onto a clean surface.
